Count Matching Values with COUNTIF

Count how many cells match a condition — like open tickets or orders over $100.

How it works

COUNTIF(range, criteria) counts cells that meet one condition. =COUNTIF(B2:B8,"Open") counts the cells equal to Open (not case-sensitive). Criteria such as ">100" or "<>Closed" also work.
