How it works

List each item with its quantity on hand and a reorder level. =IF(B2<=C2,"Reorder","OK") flags anything at or below the reorder point, =B2*D2 gives the value of stock on hand, and a conditional formatting rule that highlights cells containing "Reorder" makes the shopping list jump out.
